Our STNA Training & Certification classes are expertly designed. Each course consists of a 75-hour curriculum. 59 of the hours take place at our training center, with a combination of classroom and skills lab teaching. The remaining 16 hours of your overall class experience will be in a “clinical” setting. Clinical hours are spent with your instructor and classmates in a long-term care facility (nursing home) applying the skills you have learned in class on actual patients. Unlike other programs, our clinical rotations are already included in your class schedule and are completed during established class times. Our day, evening, or weekend students complete their clinicals during day, evening or weekend hours. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a Certificate of Successful Completion. You must obtain this certificate before the state will allow you to sit for the state test. The day you graduate and receive your certificate, you are qualified to work in a home healthcare capacity. Additionally, you are eligible to provide services to patients with developmental disabilities.
Med1Care offers day, evening or weekend-only CNA certified nursing assistant classes to accommodate your busy schedule. Our classes are taught by Registered Nurses who are certified instructors in STNA curriculum and are qualified nurses with experience in both healthcare provision and classroom settings. Be sure to check out our STNA class schedules on our Facebook page. We make becoming a nursing assistant simple. Med1Care offers a variety of payment options when it comes to funding your nursing education. We offer payment plans and accept all major credit cards.
