Our classes are designed for students with or without previous medical experience who are interested in embarking upon a career in the healthcare field. There are no prerequisites to attend our STNA classes. Candidates do NOT have to possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.

Each course consists of a 75 hour curriculum. 59 of the hours are at our training center in a combination of class room and skills lab capacity. The remaining 16 hours of your overall class experience will be in a “clinical” setting. Clinical hours are spent with your instructor and classmates in a long term care facility (nursing home) applying the skills you have learned in class on actual patients. Unlike other programs our clinical rotations are already included in your class schedule and are during the corresponding class times. Our day, evening, or weekend students complete their clinicals during day, evening or weekend hours!
Upon successful completion of the course you will receive a Certificate of Successful Completion that makes you a “test ready” nurse aide.
You must obtain this certificate before the state will allow you to sit for the state test. The day you graduate and receive your certificate you are qualified to work in a home healthcare capacity. Additionally you are eligible to provide services to patients with developmental disabilities. Med1Care offers employment opportunities for all students.
Schedules Flexible to YOUR needs!
Med1Care offers day, evening, or weekend only classes taught by Registered Nurses who are certified instructors in STNA curriculum. Our instructors are qualified nurses with experience in both health care provision and classroom settings.
- Day Classes are from 8am until 5pm Monday through Friday and GRADUATE IN ONLY TWO WEEKS!!
- Evening Classes are from 5:15 pm until 10:45 pm Monday through Friday. This program takes only three weeks to complete!
- Weekend Classes are from 9am until 6pm Saturday and 3:30pm to 6pm on Sunday for 6 consecutive weekends.
