Med1Care, an established and rapidly growing home health care and medical staffing company, is looking for a Healthcare Staffing Coordinator to join our team. This is a highly interactive and important position as your are responsible for the scheduling of clients and staff.
Responsibilities of Healthcare Staffing Coordinator:
- Identify and recruit health care professionals for the home care and staffing divisions
- Booking and staffing nurses at hospitals, nursing homes, surgery centers, and other health care facilities
- Scheduling home care patients and growing referral base
- Processing applications including obtaining references, interviewing, and administering skills assessments, and process all credentials ensuring that employees meet all compliance requirements.
- Making outbound telephone service calls to facilities to obtain staffing needs
- Obtain and documenting availability from field employees
- Candidate must be comfortable making outbound service calls and have desire to meet productivity requirements
- Build relationships with clients by filling their requests in a timely and professional manner
- Manage and cover call-offs
- Manage after hours and on-call staff to reach productivity goals.
- Contact prospective business leads to develop new referral sources and new business-increase sales and profitability
- Collect all admission and follow up paperwork and ensure all files and paperwork are compliant and meet quality standards
