Delegated Medication Administration Training
Med1Care, THE industry leader in healthcare related training and education, is pleased to announce our Delegated Medication Administration Program. This program certifies caregivers to pass medications to individuals with Developmental Disabilities and or Mental Retardation.
Our program will offer you everything you need to know to gain certification to provide medication administration to individual that meet the above requirements. There are three levels of Medical Administration credentialing and are achieved as outlined below.
- Certification Level I
This is the first phase of accreditation and it allows you to pass oral and or topical medications and perform other health related activities. The classes last for two days and are offered in both our Findlay and Toledo locations.
- Certification Level II:
This is the second phase of accreditation and it allows you to administer both foods and medication to individuals through a feeding tube (J-tube or G-tube) via Nursing Delegation. This class lasts for four hours and is offered in both our Findlay and Toledo location.
- Certification Level III:
This is the third and final phase of credentialing and it will allow you to administer insulin injections via Nursing Delegation. This class also lasts for four hours and is offered in both our Findlay and Toledo locations.
